About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Bligh Tanner. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of a wide range of structural engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage structural engineering projects from inception to completion, including preliminary to detailed design and documentation.
  • Develop and submit fee proposals for ongoing work and manage the administration of jobs, including invoicing and tracking job profitability.
  • Investigate, model, analyze, design, and document a variety of structural engineering projects, including buildings, pedestrian bridges, and landscape elements.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in structural engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in structural engineering design, particularly in architectural buildings, heritage, and institutional projects.
  • Experience in design using materials such as steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, masonry, and timber.
  • Demonstrated expertise in relevant analysis software programs, including Spacegass, RAM Concept, Strand 7, RAPT, and Inducta software.
