Employee Experience Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional team-member to deliver meaningful employee experiences, working closely with the People and Culture Manager and other key stakeholders.

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and separations, ensuring seamless transitions and minimizing disruptions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR compliance matters, providing expert guidance on awards and employment legislation, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Oversee payroll processing, reporting, and maintenance of HRIS records, ensuring timely and accurate payments and benefits administration.
  • Develop and implement onboarding programs, supporting training initiatives and rollouts, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Conduct WHS compliance checks, risk assessments, and support injury management and return-to-work programs, fostering a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Cultivate a safety-first culture across the organization, promoting awareness and engagement among employees.
  • Coach managers on effective people management practices, providing guidance on performance improvement processes and developing their skills in leading high-performing teams.
  • Provide initial support on employee relations issues, escalating when required, and advocating for employees' rights and interests.
  • Design and implement employee surveys and feedback initiatives, analyzing results to inform culture improvement strategies and drive positive change.
  • Support employee engagement strategies to boost satisfaction, motivation, and retention, promoting a sense of belonging and community within the workforce.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You'll be a proactive and people-focused professional with 2-4 years' experience in People & Culture, ideally in retail or a similar fast-paced environment. You'll possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a warm and approachable style that builds strong relationships at all levels.
