About Suburban Connect, we are seeking an experienced Training Specialist to cultivate a culture of health and safety excellence within our team.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to our operational workforce, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and efficiently.

  • Developing customized training materials aligned with our organizational needs;
  • Delivering training sessions in various locations, including primary project induction;
  • Maintaining accurate records and conducting regular audits to ensure our training program is effective;

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in health and safety training, preferably in tunnelling construction projects;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel, and PowerPoint to develop and deliver training packages;
  • A well-developed understanding of safe work behaviors and risk awareness;

We require candidates with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Certificate IV in WHS. You will also need proven ability to develop and deliver training packages and present to groups in the workplace.
