Regional Operations Director

A high-performing Regional Operations Director is required to drive sales, champion operational excellence, and ensure compliance across Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to achieve long-term objectives and depot sustainability.
- Meet or exceed financial targets for the region.
- Drive franchise recruitment, retention, and compliance.
- Partner with the Commercial Director to drive sales and build strong customer relationships.
- Champion continuous improvement, process optimisation, and automation.
- Effectively plan and manage resources to maximise profitability.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, engagement, and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and franchise standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record in general management within a service-based business.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading teams to deliver profitable growth.
- Solid financial management skills including P&L, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Proven experience in transport-specific functions such as route/capacity evaluation and 24/7 operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong influencing capability and ability to manage multiple projects and change.
- A collaborative, mentoring leadership style with a focus on driving high performance.
