Job Title: Tax Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Tax Specialist to join our team. As a Tax Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in tax law and provide high-quality advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret legislation, cases, and ATO rulings to provide client-ready advice, memos, and emails
  • Build outcome comparisons (CGT, Div 7A, distributions, roll-overs) and present recommendations
  • Prepare ruling requests, objections, and meeting packs for ATO engagement
  • Assemble evidence, draft submissions/briefs, and support cases in the ART or court
  • Design step plans for restructures, succession, and funding transactions
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Law and/or Commerce/Business/Economics, with tax or business law subjects highly regarded. You will also possess strong writing and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex law and develop recommendations.

Australian citizenship is strongly preferred, but not required. You will be working with government clients, so it's essential that you understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
