Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled reporter who can work independently and as part of a team to produce engaging stories that resonate with our audience.

The successful candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and write news articles for publication in our daily newspaper
  • Conduct interviews with sources and gather information for stories
  • Meet tight deadlines and produce high-quality content under pressure
  • Collaborate with other journalists and editors to develop story ideas and pitches

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in journalism, preferably in a similar role
  • Degree in Journalism or related field
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with social media and digital platforms
