About the Fabrication Role

The primary goal of this position is to deliver high-quality education and training services to students, in line with relevant training objectives. This may involve providing consultancy services to industry and community clients.

  • At least 5 years of experience in fabrication and welding, with current involvement in the industry
  • A minimum of Certificate III trade qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or TAE40116
  • Advanced expertise in techniques like MIG, TIG, ARC, and gas welding, along with comprehensive fabrication skills
  • Understanding of current trends, knowledge, and cultural practices in the fabrication industry
  • Familiarity with the MEM Training Package and its application in vocational education
  • Proficiency in using digital tools like email, PowerPoint, web-based platforms, spreadsheets, and Office suite to support training delivery
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, to engage diverse learners and collaborate effectively with colleagues

To be successful in this role, you will need:
