Job Summary
A Fabrication Instructor is required to deliver high-quality training and assessment services to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with current industry involvement.
About the Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide expert instruction in advanced fabrication techniques, including MIG, TIG, ARC, and gas welding. The successful applicant will also be involved in the development and delivery of curriculum materials, as well as providing consultancy services to industry clients.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in fabrication and welding, with current hands-on industry involvement.
- Trade qualifications to a minimum of Certificate III.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116).
- Strong expertise in advanced welding techniques and comprehensive fabrication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
