Field Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently to diagnose and rectify faults in John Deere Construction and Forestry machinery.
  • Inspect equipment and provide recommendations for repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Trade qualification.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, including the ability to use modern diagnostic techniques.
  • Able to perform complex repairs and recondition vehicle and machinery systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Additional qualifications such as Air-Conditioning, Auto Electrical, or High-Risk Work Licences (e.g., Forklift, EWP, Crane) are highly regarded.
