Job Role Summary:

Heavy Machinery Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team. As a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician or Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician:
    • Diagnose and repair hydraulic hose and component issues on heavy plant and equipment
    • Fabricate and install new hoses and components
    • Assist qualified technicians with repairs and maintenance
    • Provide technical advice and great customer service
    • Keep accurate job records and follow all safety procedures
  • Mobile Trade Assistant:
    • Assist with repairs and maintenance on heavy plant and equipment
    • Pick up and deliver parts as needed
    • Keep the workshop and work areas organised and safe
    • Maintain job records and uphold our safety standards

Requirements:

  • Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician:
    • Previous experience in a similar role
    • Skilled in hydraulic hose repair and replacement
    • Knowledge of heavy machinery operation and maintenance
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Great with customers and safety-focused
    • Current driver's licence
  • Mobile Trade Assistant:
    • Proactive and able to work at a fast pace
    • Can take initiative
    • Works well independently and in a team
    • Strong customer service and safety focus
    • Current driver's licence
