Job Summary:

The Grains Planner will play a critical role in ensuring clear communication across the business. This role involves working with Supply Chain, Trading & Risk Management, Grainflow and other areas of the business to develop, communicate and monitor supply plans and forecasts, ensuring assets are utilised efficiently and costs are minimised.

Main Responsibilities:

- Coordinate Integrated Business Planning operations for continuous improvement of processes
- Provide detailed allocations to other Supply Chain teams in a timely manner
- Identify areas of arbitrage through more efficient supply chains and improved asset utilisation
- Continually improve supply chains and challenge the status quo
- Develop and monitor harvest buying plans
- Other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

- A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Agribusiness
- Minimum 2 years operational experience in logistics and supply chain operations, preferably in an agribusiness environment gaining general grain and oilseed product commodity knowledge and knowledge of trade flows, freight and bulk handling systems
- Intermediate to Advanced competency in Excel
