Job Title: GIS DevOps/Cloud Engineer

Our client is a leading provider of cloud-based solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled GIS DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a GIS DevOps/Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cloud-based solutions using AWS and Azure platforms.
  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, including virtualization, storage, and networking.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using Java, Python, and other programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with AWS and Azure platforms, including migration and deployment.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and other programming languages.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with GIS technologies, including ArcGIS and QGIS.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Experience with cloud security and compliance.
