Senior Software Security Assurance Engineer

We are in pursuit of a dedicated cybersecurity professional to be a key player in our Security Assurance Team at TPG Telecom. In this role, you will blend technical acumen with an empathetic approach, ensuring our software development processes are both sophisticated and secure.

As a Senior Software Security Assurance Engineer, you will work together with our Red-team, leveraging tools like static code analysis and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) to identify and address potential security risks. You will ensure that the Software Security Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) processes are strictly followed throughout the development phase, embedding security at every stage.

Our ideal candidate has experience within the digital assurance area in the retail and/or telecommunications sectors. We need someone with a keen eye for detail, an ability to understand complex IT systems, and a talent for simplifying complexities. Most importantly, we seek someone excited about their role, friendly, empathetic, and ready to collaborate.

Some of your responsibilities as a Senior Software Security Assurance Engineer may include:

  • Executing comprehensive reviews of application codes, unearthing and addressing potential security risks.
  • Harnessing tools like static code analysis and DAST to provide detailed and thorough code evaluations.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with our Red team, integrating their insights to strengthen our digital defences.
  • Ensuring unwavering adherence to our Software Security Development Life Cycle (SSDLC).
  • Educating and guiding development teams, championing a culture of security-conscious development and continuous growth.
