Behaviour Support Professional

An accomplished Behaviour Support Professional is required to join our dynamic team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support clients, along with their families and/or carers, to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning
  • Identify meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
  • Develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based support plans within complex support environments
  • Ensure individual plans reflect clients' goals, passions and strengths
  • Build knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support clients - family, carers, friends, etc

We are committed to delivering best-practice, outcome-focused services. Our Positive Behaviour Support Model encompasses multidisciplinary expertise of Behaviour Support Professionals and Speech Pathologists to understand drivers of behaviours from a communication, sensory and environmental perspective.

A Day in the Life:

As a Behaviour Support Professional, you will work closely with clients and their support networks to develop and implement tailored support plans. You will utilise your knowledge of The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework to drive positive behaviour change and ensure client safety and well-being.
