Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operator Assistant I-Sand Control Specialist to join our team at Halliburton Energy Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will assist in the rigging up and down of Sand Control service line equipment on work locations, providing Sand Control pumping services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Sand Control Operations: Under strict supervision, assist during the rigging up and down of Sand Control service line equipment on work locations for the purpose of providing Sand Control pumping services.
  • Learn and Apply Sand Control Knowledge: Learn basic Sand Control operations, including pre/post job equipment inspections, preventative maintenance procedures, and operating sand control support equipment.
  • Assist in Equipment Assembly and Preparation: Assist in the assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service.
  • Support Job Execution and Clean-up: Assist in the running of a job and in the clean up, repair, and preparation for the next job.
  • Promote Safety and Environmental Awareness: Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness and comply with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • Ensure Compliance with HSE Regulations: Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
  • Contribute to Quality Improvement: Promote and take an active part in quality improvement processes.
  • Meet Basic Qualifications: Skills are typically acquired through completion of high school or similar education. Must have successfully passed company tests or met task guideline requirements.
  • Basic Mathematical and Computer Skills: The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Basic computer skills are preferred.
  • Commercial Vehicle Licensure: Licensure to drive commercial vehicles may be required.

  • High school diploma or similar education
  • Successful completion of company tests or meeting task guideline requirements
  • Basic mathematical calculations skills
  • Basic reading comprehension and writing skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Licensure to drive commercial vehicles (if required)
