About This Role

The Aboriginal Advanced Case Manager position involves overseeing a diverse caseload to deliver evidence-based best practices in case management for individuals with complex needs and those who have committed serious offenses.

This role may also require assisting in assessing clients' suitability for corrections orders and providing advice to the Koori Court.

  • Develop culturally sensitive support plans for Aboriginal individuals
  • Identify and evaluate factors influencing individual offending behavior and provide personalized risk assessments. Provide advice to senior management and community-based teams on effective case management strategies for Aboriginal persons
  • Establish relationships with Aboriginal organizations and other organizations that support and strengthen case management for Aboriginal persons
  • Manage a caseload and develop rapport with individuals to address offending behavior and complete corrections orders
