About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Environmental Program Coordinator to join our team at Landcare NSW. As a key member of our program management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering the NSW Landcare Program (2019-2023) and achieving the strategic objectives of Landcare NSW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to develop and implement effective program management tools and processes
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for program meetings, workshops, and events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including regional councils, community groups, and industry partners
  • Assist with the development and implementation of program communications strategies
  • Provide technical assistance and support to program teams and stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, and develop strategies to address emerging issues
  • Compile reports and updates on program progress and outcomes

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in a similar community-led movement, charity, or peak body organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership
  • Proficiency in project management software tools and other relevant technologies
