About the Opportunity

A leading Environment consultancy firm seeks to improve the physical and social environment for the communities in which we live and work. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Principal Environmental Specialist to join our collaborative team working on multiple national and international projects in various industry sectors, including transportation, urban infrastructure, government, and mining and land development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing high-quality reports and technical documents
  • Managing, analyzing, and interpreting data
  • Championing proposal and tender preparation
  • Coordinating with stakeholders and clients to manage and deliver environmental projects on time and within budget
  • Providing field support in activities such as drilling programs, groundwater well installations, soil, groundwater, and soil vapour monitoring
  • Assessing and remediating risk
About You
  • A team player with strong communication and stakeholder liaison skills
  • Tertiary qualified in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in contaminated land assessment and/or environmental assessment and remediation
  • Proven track record of targeting, winning, and delivering projects on time
  • Good industry knowledge and previous experience working on diverse projects for public and private clients
  • A current valid Driver's license
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Highly initiative and flexible
  • Proficient in Microsoft office tools, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Possess strong analytical, reporting, and data presentation skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills with proven ability to achieve set objectives on time
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
