Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Civil Project Manager to join our client, a well-established civil contractor in Western Australia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing civil projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with commercial and estimation teams to develop project proposals, tenders, and cost estimates. They will also ensure efficient resource allocation, plant, machinery, equipment, and materials on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple civil projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively
  • Collaborate with commercial and estimation teams to develop project proposals, tenders, and cost estimates
  • Ensure efficient use of plant, machinery, equipment, and materials on site
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to secure future works and tenders
  • Work closely with project engineers and senior supervisors to ensure efficient delivery, prioritization, and productivity of projects and crews

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in civil contracting, infrastructure, or mining projects
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience in areas such as earthworks, bulk earthworks, drainage, grading, roads, piping, trenching, tailings, and dewatering
  • Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or project management

Salary: Competitive salary package, estimated around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus superannuation and potential regional uplifts
