Key Role: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to support our marketing efforts as a Freelance Social Media Content Creator. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing engaging content with a focus on social media, hospitality industry storytelling, and content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Content Creation:
    1. Assist in the creation of visually compelling and engaging social media posts (images, videos, graphics) across multiple platforms.
    2. Write and schedule content that aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
    3. Monitor social media accounts, engage with followers, and help manage responses and messages.
    4. Analyse social media trends to maximise engagement and visibility.
  2. Content Support:
    1. Assist in the development of content highlighting property offerings, showcasing events, and seasonal promotions.
    2. Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions for content strategy and campaigns.
    3. Help track and report on content performance across social media platforms.
  3. General Administrative Support:
    1. Assist with the coordination of communication and content calendars to ensure timely delivery of content.
    2. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and best practices in digital marketing.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and an understanding of how to engage with online communities.
  • Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a keen interest in creating content that showcases unique experiences offered by resorts.
  • Detail-oriented, with a creative mindset and strong organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in content creation, marketing or communications is preferred.

Work Schedule: This role may suit a candidate based in either Sydney or Coffs Harbour. Flexibility in days may be negotiated, with some work potentially being done remotely.
