Job Title: Plastic Moulding Technician
Are you looking for a challenging role where you can utilize your mechanical skills and experience in plastic moulding? We are seeking an experienced Plastic Moulding Technician to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Start up and shut down machines as per established procedures.
- Change dies and inserts and make necessary adjustments.
- Operate a crane to set and remove dies from machines.
- Cycle the machine to produce high-quality parts.
- Inspect parts for proper tolerances and surface finish, making adjustments as needed.
- Set and adjust machines to achieve target parameters for part production.
- Maintain accurate production records, including settings, waste, and quality control data.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and ISO 9001 standards.
Requirements:
- Tool Maker/Die Setter/Moulder certification or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in injection moulding machine die setting within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence.
