Mould Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mould Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for setting up moulding jobs, assisting with die setting, and ensuring processes, machinery, and tooling are operating in safe condition.

Key Responsibilities:
- Setup of moulding jobs
- Assist with die setting
- Assist in set-up of ancillary equipment (hot stampers, sonic welders)
- Changeovers of moulded products (colour changes, material changes)
- Request repairs or improvements to tooling or machinery from the Tool room or Maintenance Departments
- Ensure processes, machinery, and tooling are operating in safe condition
- Maintain the quality of output in accordance with quality specifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a plastic mould Technician position
- Experience with die setting, insert changes, and machine start-up and shutdown
- Experience with troubleshooting to maintain accepted quality of products
- Maintaining cycle times
- Trade qualification required
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Mould Technician
- Minimum 2 years experience in Plastics manufacturing
