About Energy Transition Role

A leading global law firm seeks a projects and energy transition professional to join its team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to pivot into the energy space, working across renewable and energy transition projects globally, as well as market-leading infrastructure, construction, and transport projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on projects and energy transition matters;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality results;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Contribute to the development of business growth strategies and initiatives;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' post-admission experience (1-3 as a senior associate);
  • Ideal experience gained within private practice or in-house, with a focus on energy, infrastructure, construction, and transport projects;
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently;
  • Proactive, positive, and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service.
