**The opportunity**

We are looking for a cost controller to join our growing consultancy to take on front-end cost control of a significant rail project in Melbourne's Western Suburbs. Reporting to the Senior Cost Controller as part of a project controls team, the cost controller plays a crucial role in the planning and successfully delivering a significant infrastructure project.
- Converting the budget baseline into the package cost breakdown structure
- Input into the pricing schedules for tender documentation.
- Manage financial change management
- Implement monthly reporting

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

- Demonstrated experience with project controls, including cost breakdown structure, project baselines, cost forecasting and month-end reporting.
- High competency with various software products, particularly MS Office and document management systems (experience with project controls software will be viewed favourably)
- Ability to work independently for a client.
- Qualified Quantity Surveyor or Civil Engineer.
