
Advanced Therapeutic Specialist

We are a multidisciplinary organization dedicated to delivering high-quality support services for individuals with varying needs and goals. As a senior speech pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping our participants achieve their independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and dynamic speech pathologists to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our participants. You will be working closely with a diverse range of individuals, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, to provide timely therapeutic services.
- Manage an allocated caseload based on your negotiated hours and deliver high-quality therapeutic services that cater to the unique needs of each participant.
- Provide early intervention services for infants 0-5 years old, including clinic/home-based assessments and parent coaching that empowers parents to take an active role in their child's development.
- Assess and implement communication strategies for school-aged children (5-18) with literacy, social communication, speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding, and AAC difficulties that impact their ability to learn and interact effectively.
- Work with adults to address functional communication, speech, language, fluency, dysphagia, mealtime management, neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, and acquired brain injury rehabilitation that promotes independence and improves overall quality of life.
- Offer neuro-affirming supports to our large neurodivergent population across all age groups that acknowledges and respects their unique experiences and perspectives.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist.
- Experience leading and supporting others in a multidisciplinary setting.
- A passion for collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each participant.
- A desire to make a real difference within the community and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.
- Experience delivering services under the NDIS framework that prioritizes participant-centered care and outcomes.
