Job Title: Environmental Program Coordinator\

We are seeking an experienced teacher to coordinate our VCE Environmental Science program and the ResourceSmart Schools initiative in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a passion for supporting teachers to deliver high-quality environmental education.

This is a mid-senior level, full-time position that requires 4 or 5 days per week commitment. The successful candidate will enjoy a flexible work environment with opportunities to develop EEV's programs and resources.

About the Role\

The Environmental Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the VCE Environmental Science program, which includes developing and delivering professional learning events, networking opportunities, and resources for teachers. The role also involves facilitating the ResourceSmart Schools program in the Western Metropolitan Region of Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent project management skills and the ability to work independently. They will also have a strong understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) requirements for VCE Environmental Science.

Key Responsibilities\
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of professional learning events for teachers.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities for teachers to share best practice and ideas.
  • Develop and maintain resources for teachers to support the delivery of VCE Environmental Science.
  • Collaborate with teachers to provide tools and support for delivering high-quality environmental education.
