Our team seeks a skilled professional to manage and deliver high-quality environmental engagement programs. These programs are designed to foster awareness, connection, and stewardship among visitors and program participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop lesson plans, prepare, and teach assigned environmental engagement programs focusing on reserved group programs and Conservation Investigations visitor experiences.
  • Provide unique, interactive, and engaging experiences for program participants and visitors.
  • Maintain participant safety through professional classroom management, enforcing policies, and maintaining order.
  • Support volunteer, intern, and seasonal staff coordination and supervision.
  • Train staff, volunteers, and interns on assigned programming.
  • Care for and utilize programming equipment/supplies and facilities, including cleaning and maintaining EE Complex facilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, biology, zoology, environmental science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in interpretive education settings.
  • Familiarity with teaching methods, age-appropriate cognitive and physical abilities, and wildlife, conservation, and education principles.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, work with various ages and backgrounds, and present a constructive attitude.
