Job Overview

This recruitment process aims to fill 13.3 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) vacancies for Anatomical Pathology specialists across various NSW Health Pathology Labs sites.

Candidates will be considered for all listed positions, with opportunities for full-time or part-time appointments and potential for fractional basis negotiation. Applications must be submitted through the eCredential platform.

  • Metropolitan sites: Concord, Gosford, Liverpool, Nepean, Westmead
About Our Service

We provide diagnostic, consultative, and on-call services in Histopathology, Cytopathology, Immunohistochemistry, Molecular Pathology, and other areas of expertise.

Selection Criteria
  1. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Anatomical Pathology, or expected to receive Fellowship by February 2026
  2. Commitment to research, medical education, and staff training
  3. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team with strong communication and adaptability skills
  4. Demonstrated personal qualities including motivation, initiative, time management, and commitment to professional development
  5. Commitment to clinical quality management, continuous improvement, and knowledge of NPAAC Standards and NATA accreditation processes
  6. Up-to-date clinical knowledge and technical expertise in Anatomical Pathology, including subspecialty expertise or willingness to undertake subspecialisation
