About This Role

This position involves delivering comprehensive care to families with young children in a residential early parenting unit. The successful candidate will conduct thorough assessments, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver family-centred care to families with infants and toddlers.
  • Conduct regular assessments, develop plans, and coordinate care delivery for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Provide health education and support to parents to promote optimal child health and well-being.

Necessary Qualifications and Skills

  • Registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA is required.
  • Prior experience in hospital-based postgraduate roles is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and coordinate patient care needs, along with strong customer service and time management skills.

Benefits Package

The hourly base rate for this role ranges from $37.75 to $53.02, plus superannuation, based on experience and qualifications.
