Child Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Wellbeing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive child protection and wellbeing risk assessments, providing expert advice, support, and education to healthcare professionals on all aspects of child protection and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough child protection and wellbeing risk assessments, identifying potential risks and developing effective strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide high-level advice, support, and education to healthcare professionals on child protection and wellbeing, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide optimal care.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and community groups, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or a related field.
  • Substantial experience and high-level understanding of child protection dynamics, including legislative context.
  • Commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team, adhering to values such as accountability, ethical practice, and trustworthiness.
