Lead Multidisciplinary Design Projects

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Defence Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary design projects primarily through the Estate Works Program (EWP) via the Project Delivery Services (PDS) Contract.

Job Overview

This role will focus on supporting the full lifecycle delivery of EWP projects and portfolios across the Defence Estate in Victoria.

You will work closely with internal project teams and industry partners to deliver projects on schedule, within quality standards and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate among stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects that meet client expectations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in project delivery, preferably in defence or infrastructure projects.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related field are desirable.
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a current baseline security clearance.
