Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Partner to join our team in ResMed. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing financial planning and analytical support to the Chief Information Officer and other local corporate functional leaders.

Key Responsibilities

The Strategic Business Partner will be responsible for:

  • Providing financial business partnership and advisory services to the Chief Information Officer and support partner for other local corporate functional leaders
  • Analyzing financial information to determine present and future financial performance
  • Identifying trends and recommending improvements accordingly
  • Developing and maintaining robust and scalable benchmarking processes and metrics for IT organization
  • Supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives by driving efficient processes, improved tools and optimal organization structures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in finance, accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in either a corporate finance, financial planning & analysis role, accounting, investment banking or other relevant experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior management and other stakeholders
  • Proficient in data gathering from cloud through SQL, BI tools (e.g., TM1, Cognos) and budgeting systems (e.g., Anaplan)
  • Substantial experience in top ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
