About this role

The Manager, Operational Resilience leads the development of strategies to ensure the continuity and availability of services during surge events and incidents.

Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, evaluating emergency management procedures, operational policies, and business continuity management programs, as well as representing the organization in sector-wide working groups.

To succeed in this position, candidates should possess a proven ability to conceptualise solutions, identify business needs, and have an understanding of emergency services, communications centres, emergency management, telecommunications, employee relations, and relevant government policy.

Prior experience in managing operational business continuity and/or doctrine with demonstratable outcomes is highly desirable, along with senior management positions, best practice customer service organisations or contact centre operations, and exposure to areas of accountability.
