Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Continuity Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring the organization's resilience. This role involves supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining business continuity plans aligned with organizational needs and industry standards. They will conduct regular testing and updates of these plans to ensure effectiveness and compliance.

This position requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as the successful candidate will work closely with IT and business units to identify and prioritize critical systems and data assets.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans aligned with organizational needs and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular testing and updates of recovery plans to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to identify and prioritize critical systems and data assets.
  • Ensure all key stakeholders and system owners receive comprehensive training on business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure that business continuity plans are aligned with service level agreements.

What You'll Need

  • Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in business continuity planning and implementation.
  • Experience with backup and recovery procedures, business continuity planning, and risk management.
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) certification.
