Postdoctoral Research Fellow Job Description

The Role
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of research projects, including data collection, analysis (quantitative and/or qualitative), and interpretation.
  • Contribute to outputs in high-quality refereed journals consistent with the discipline.

This full-time fixed-term position will be located at our main campus.

Requirements
  • A doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in Education or a related social science discipline with a focus on Education.
  • A demonstrated record of publication in high-quality outlets.
  • Demonstrated experience with quantitative and/or qualitative research, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high-level organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively, with flexibility and resilience to manage competing demands and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Capacity for self-directed and collaborative work.
  • Capacity for inter-state and intra-state travel, as required for data collection, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
