About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our team at KU Children's Services. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention supports for children aged birth to 12 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders, including families and other professionals.
  • Support the developmental needs of children through assessment, intervention, and report writing.
  • Administer and score a range of assessments to inform intervention planning.
  • Work collaboratively with families and other professionals to develop and implement individualised plans.
  • Provide feedback to families on their child's progress and development.
Requirements
  • Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children.
  • Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments.
  • Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases.
  • Meticulous time management and organisation skills.
  • Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain.
  • A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain.
