Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our secondary faculty team and support teachers in delivering high-quality educational programs. As our Lead Secondary Education Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and developing a diverse secondary faculty team, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation, and driving student achievement and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the secondary faculty team, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with state and national standards, ensuring academic rigor and relevance to students' lives.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community, promoting a sense of belonging and connection to the school.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and implementing targeted interventions to support student achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver professional learning programs, enhancing teacher capacity and supporting ongoing improvement in teaching and learning.
Requirements
  • A successful teaching background with experience in leading and managing teams, preferably in a secondary education setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation, with a focus on student-centred learning and assessment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • An unwavering commitment to improving student outcomes and contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive remuneration package, estimated to be around $145,499 per annum, which includes a base salary, leave loading, and employer contributions to superannuation.
