Personal Care Worker/Assistant in Nursing

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide tailored support to residents with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and oral care.

The successful candidate will have a true passion for caring for others and assisting with mobility, meal times, and lifestyle activities that nourish the mind, body, and spirit connection.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic care that supports residents in achieving their goals and having all their needs met.
  • Monitor residents throughout the day, escalating any changes in their preferences, needs, or wellbeing.
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support residents with daily living activities, such as eating, drinking, and medication management.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure resident-centered care.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Nursing, or related health/care studies.
  • Prior experience as a Personal Care Assistant-Assistant in Nursing (PCA-AIN) in aged care is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and service.
