A highly skilled Facilities Maintenance professional is required to join our team. As a key member of the facilities department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and presentation of park infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience in a similar role, be capable of working independently, and demonstrate initiative in identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Patching and repairing concrete paths, walls, stairs, and foundations
- Painting of surfaces across guest, staff, and operations areas
- Repair of timber fixtures including fences, railings, benches, and shade structures
- Minor repair of gates, signs, cladding, and external building features
- Fixing loose or damaged components in guest and staff areas
- Carry out routine inspections and respond promptly to maintenance issues
- Identify and report faults or hazards to the Facilities Team Leader
- Undertake assigned corrective and preventive maintenance tasks
- Assist with general carpentry, paving, minor brickwork, and park infrastructure touch-ups
- Maintain accurate records and logs of completed works and inspections
Additionally, you will assist with projects and trades, move tools and supplies around the site, and maintain work areas in a clean and safe condition.
You will be required to provide cross-department support, including cleaning during events or peak periods, general landscaping, setup and pack down of temporary structures or signage, and perform other duties as directed by the Facilities Team Leader or Director of Facilities.
