Procurement and Framework Officer Role

The Procurement and Framework Officer will join a team providing Grants, Procurement, and Financial Framework Policy advice, guidance, and support to the government.

Main Responsibilities
  • Advise on Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Public Governance, Performance, and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act)
  • Provide financial and spending delegations and authorisations for the department
  • Maintain and administer access to other-agency panel arrangements
  • Support procurement and financial framework mandatory reporting for the department and portfolio
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to provide stakeholders with legislative and general guidance and support
  • Sound judgement, including identification and escalation of risk
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing priorities while remaining engaged and productive
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation or capacity to gain this within a short timeframe

  • Effective provision of advice and support to stakeholders
  • Timely maintenance and administration of access to other-agency panel arrangements
  • Accurate and complete procurement and financial framework reports
