Career Medical Officers form the backbone of providing high-quality general medical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patients are assessed, cared for and their plans implemented
  • Relevant reports and paperwork must be completed
  • Regular mandatory education and training must be completed
  • A professional multi-disciplinary team works collaboratively
  • Compliance with all relevant policies and practices is maintained
Essential Qualifications:
  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA is a must
  • Demonstrated clinical and procedural experience is required
  • Ability to work on a rotating roster and on-call basis is essential
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritise workload
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hospital setting is advantageous
