Technical Specialist Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting engineering teams during trials and ongoing use, helping them integrate and optimize their build workflows.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in software development, technical support, SRE, or developer-facing roles. They will have a strong understanding of developer workflows and build systems, as well as proficiency in at least one programming language.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment with experience in tools like Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes. Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenShift is also a plus.

The successful candidate will be a great communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts clearly in writing and on calls. Experience writing or contributing to technical documentation or internal knowledge bases is also required.

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for trialing, new, and existing customers—offering guidance as they adopt and scale our platform.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve complex issues with build systems, integrations, and environments.
  • Help customers optimize their use of EngFlow's products and ensure smooth adoption within their developer workflows.
  • Partner with Engineering to surface and track product bugs, performance regressions, and feature feedback from the field.
  • Create and maintain internal and external documentation to improve future support and empower developers.
  • Engage with the broader community via forums, Slack, GitHub, and conferences—representing EngFlow's voice with empathy and technical clarity.
  • Contribute to a culture of operational excellence through metrics, tooling improvements, and automation.
