As a Consumer Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in managing consumer feedback and facilitating the timely resolution of complaints. This position offers an accessible point of contact for both consumers and staff, aiming to achieve positive outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- You will identify and analyze situations and issues, gathering evidence, considering options, and making sound decisions and recommendations.
- Effective communication is crucial, as you will need to manage conflict calmly and cultivate productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding health service delivery, recognizing risks to patient safety, and taking prompt action to escalate identified risks are essential aspects of this role.
- Working autonomously, you will plan, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and be adaptable in a team environment.
**Requirements:**
- You must be vaccinated against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
- Vaccination against COVID-19 is also mandatory, as per Health Employment Directive NO.12/21 and Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
