Drive Technical Building Product Adoption

We are seeking a highly skilled Specification Manager to join our Sydney team.

This role is crucial for driving the adoption of our technical building products through precise specification processes.

You will be instrumental in collaborating with architects, specifiers, and engineers to ensure our products are specified from the initial design phase to delivery on residential, education, and commercial projects.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote our technical building products.

  • Provide detailed technical advice and support, ensuring compliance with Australian building codes and standards.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance product visibility and preference among specifiers.

  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to align our specification strategies with market demands.

  • Deliver presentations and training sessions to educate clients and partners about our products and their applications.

  • Oversee the entire specification process to ensure successful product integration into projects.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technical sales or specification roles within the construction industry, especially with products like cladding, façades, linings, insulation, acoustic, ceilings, windows, doors, glazing systems, panels, passive fire, or roofing.

  • Strong knowledge of architectural and construction processes with a focus on technical building products.

  • Familiarity with relevant building codes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building professional relationships.

  • Detailed understanding of Australian building codes and standards.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive product adoption through effective specification.
