Theatre Orderly Position

We are seeking a Theatre Orderly to join our perioperative team. This role encompasses working within a dedicated team to provide safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre, demonstrating commitment to quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre
  • Provide safe effective patient handling and positioning
  • Setting up of theatres
  • Maintaining a safe patient environment including the setup and cleaning of theatres during procedures
  • Providing support to the nursing staff
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Theatre Orderly experience within the Health Care Industry is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently
  • Availability for a range of shifts across a 6-day rotating roster
  • A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures
  • Motivated and positive with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of manual handling and infection control procedures
  • An unrestricted NSW drivers' licence

Requirements
