Perioperative Support Role

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Perioperative Support Specialist.

  • This role involves providing assistance to patients and staff in the perioperative environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

  • Provide patient assistance and transfers, including the use of lifting equipment and bed movers.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, such as cleaning beds, restocking equipment and managing waste.
  • Remove dirty linen and ensure clean linen is readily available.
  • Operate in line with WHS policies and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to staff, clients and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients.
  • Work as an active team member to support all work tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Autority to Work in Australia.
  • Experience in a hospital environment (desirable).
  • Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement.
  • Working with Children check.
  • Commitment to service excellence.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level attention to detail.
