Job Description:

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of perioperative medicine. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive anaesthesia and perioperative services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care across elective, emergency, and acute care settings.
  • Contribute to clinical leadership, quality improvement initiatives, and safe patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and supervision to medical students, registrars, and clinical staff.
  • Participate in the on-call roster, supporting surgical and critical care services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia as an Anaesthetist.
  • Broad recent experience in anaesthesia, including acute pain and perioperative medicine, with demonstrated expertise in regional anaesthesia.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A commitment to teaching, research, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Willingness to participate in the on-call roster and provide timely support.
