Senior Contracts Administrator

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Contracts Administrator. This permanent role will oversee the procurement and downstream pre/post contract management function for concurrent water infrastructure, and utilities projects across various suburbs.

  • Prepare bills of quantities and manage cost control with diligence and accuracy.
  • Sourcing appropriate subcontractors and ensuring favourable commercial terms are obtained in accordance with established protocols.
  • Administer sub-contractor and client variation & EOT claims effectively.
  • Deal with sub-contractor and client payment claims promptly.
  • Liaise closely with the project team and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure monthly financial reporting requirements are met through disciplined forecasting and tracking of revenue and costs.
  • Perform general commercial administration and document control tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Contracts Administrator within the construction or utilities sectors is essential.
  • Good working knowledge of forms of contract currently used within the construction/utilities industry is required.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar field (preferred).
  • Excellent IT skills with advanced skills in Excel and Word are necessary.
  • A high level of personal motivation and commercial acumen is desired.
