Medical Receptionist Role

We are seeking an exceptional Medical Receptionist to deliver outstanding patient care and support our team in Geelong.

The successful candidate will provide a high level of customer service, ensuring patients feel valued and cared for. Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing the organisation as the first point of contact
  • Responding to patient inquiries and making bookings
  • Managing appointments and maximising efficiency
  • Actioning patient referrals as part of a multi-disciplinary team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Prior medical reception experience is highly regarded but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to show empathy and compassion
  • Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Proficient keyboard skills for data entry into our RIS system
  • EFTPOS and cash handling skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
