Compassionate Nurse Sought for Rehabilitation Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work as part of a dynamic, patient-focused environment, providing both physical and emotional care as patients rebuild their independence.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with at least 12 months' experience in an acute care setting. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Assess patient needs and provide high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • Work closely with patients recovering from a range of conditions, providing tailored rehabilitation programs that make a difference in people's lives.

A Functional Independence Measure (FIM) qualification is highly desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment checks and assessments.

About the Role

This full-time Registered Nurse role involves working in a 25-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, reporting directly to the Nurse Unit Manager. You will be assessing patient needs, providing care, administering medications, and ensuring each person feels supported and comfortable throughout their recovery journey.

What We Are Looking For
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Ability to commit to a full-time rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience in providing patient-centred care and contributing to personalised rehabilitation plans.
